A Wedding Cake at Cranwell Resort

Today I delivered a cake to Cranwell Resort in Lenox. This was a three tiered strawberry cake. It had strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing. The bride purchased this cute lovebird topper & I handmade the sugar flowers and topper base to compliment the topper.

A Cake for the Teacher

School's out! Today is the last day of school! I decided to make my daughter's teacher a cake (I heard carrot cake is her favorite). So I made a carrot cake, torted, filled & covered with vanilla buttercream - with a few royal icing flowers on top.

Tuxedo Cake & Tuxedo Strawberries

I just finished up an order for Jerrid & Diane at Tux Express / Berkshire Wedding Associates. They will be celebrating the end of another successful prom season. They wanted a lot of chocolate for this cake! It included chocolate fudge cake filled with dark chocolate ganache, iced in chocolate fudge buttercream, and covered in chocolate & vanilla fondant. I also made some tuxedo strawberries to go around the cake!

Wedding Cake at the Red Lion Inn

I created this small wedding cake on Monday & delivered it to the Red Lion Inn. This cake was vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream (where I use fresh strawberries as one of the ingredients), covered in fondant. The couple found this cake design in one of my Wilton wedding books, but chose sugar flowers over fresh flowers. (Unfortunately, I forgot my camera & didn't get a picture of the lovely table set-up with the cake!)

Hawaiian Cake

Sunday was my brother-in-law's 23rd birthday. He requested a pineapple coconut cake. Well, I didn't have much time, seeing as I had two other cakes last weekend, so I made a semi-homemade Hawaiian cake for him. It was a big hit and was gone that night!

A Wedding in Lenox, Massachusetts

On Saturday, I delivered this wedding cake to an out-of-town NYC couple. They had seen this cake on my website & wanted it recreated for their reception. Inside was delicious carrot cake!

A Berkshire Hills Country Club Wedding Cake

Yesterday I completed another large wedding cake which was delivered to the Berkshire Hills Country Club. This was a five tier cake that had white cake with strawberry fruit filling, marble cake with chocolate chip filling, and chocolate cake with cookies & cream filling. The bride gave me the ribbon that she selected for the bottom borders, and I made fondant ribbon roses for the topper.
